Yi-Hui Chen is a pianist known for expressive artistry and versatility across solo and collaborative repertoire — performing with instrumentalists, vocalists, chamber ensembles, ballet, wind symphonies, and full orchestras across the United States.
Trained at National Taiwan Normal University, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and Michigan State University — where she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance in 2022 — Chen now serves as a collaborative pianist at Michigan State University and Central Michigan University, and is pursuing a second doctorate in collaborative piano.
